“Our People” - Mendocino Farms. Directed by Matt Beard. Filmed by Matt Beard and Errisson Lawrence.

  • WHO: client - Mendocino Farms

WHAT: Video Project and Still Photography.

WHERE: The Los Feliz location at : 4531 W. Hollywood Blvd.  Los Angeles, CA 90027

WHY: We’ve been working with Mendocino Farms for a couple of years, doing the still photography for their new Advertisements and Menu items. When they approached us to create a video project for them, showcasing their awesome and truly happy team members and clients, we were beyond thrilled at the opportunity.

For this project, we needed to stay within a relatively tight budget, so we scaled down to a production crew of 4, shooting 2 hand-held Canon R5 4K Video setups, as well as creating a new library of still images for Mendo to use on their website and social media. We did all of the video and post production editing in-house.

We really had a great time working on this project, and getting to know many of the amazing people who make up the heart and soul of the Mendocino Farms experience. They really are a team of HAPPY people working for a great brand that we are proud to support.

“Katy & Amanda” - Chang Beer. Directed by Matt Beard. Filmed by Matt Beard and Errisson Lawrence.

  • WHO: client - Chang Beer

WHAT: “Katy & Amanda”. A short video, for the Chang “Lamiat” project, featuring a story of two sisters from Thailand, who own and operate several restaurants in Southern California, bringing their own family’s recipes to the menu.

WHERE: Chao Krung Thai restaurant. Los Angeles, CA

WHY: Our friends at Chang beer approached us to shoot a series of short videos for an ongoing campaign, featuring several hand-picked artisans showing how they pursue their “Craft”, in the spirit of the distinctly Thai philosophy known as “Lamiat”.

Lamiat is a centuries-old Thai philosophy encouraging people to see things differently by focusing on the small details, while looking beyond the ordinary. It is the continuous refinement of one’s “craft” in pursuit of perfection. This constant pursuit (mental, emotional and physical) defines both Thai culture, and Chang Beer.
